This piece was inpired by two things. First, the obsious striking beauty of a pink moon large and glowing deep on the horizon, and second, my favorite musical artist, Runo Plum, wrote a song called "Pink Moon" which has become one of my favorite songs of all time. The serenity and poetic lyrics of the song perfectly capture what a sense of home feels like—peaceful, familiar, and comforting.
