This original piece was created as a gift to one of my best friends after her father passed away. To me, mourning doves symbolize peace, love, comfort, and the enduring presence of those we've lost. Whenever I see or hear a mourning dove, I'm reminded of my friend and her family, and I take a moment to think of them and pray for them.
